As a DevOps Engineer your key responsibilities are:
Infrastructure Management: As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer at Nixu IT, you will take part in a team responsible for managing the overall infrastructure supporting our systems and applications.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You will be responsible for building, securing, and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code techniques.
Automation: You will be developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
Developer Support: You will provide support to the organization's business application developers, assisting them with infrastructure-related issues and optimizing their workflows.
Platform Development: You will contribute to enhance and further development our platform, leveraging your expertise in infrastructure management and automation.
Security: You will implement best security practices throughout the infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
Incident Management and Troubleshooting: You will have the chance to participate in incident management processes, including identifying, triaging, and resolving infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.
We are looking for you!
The ideal candidate should possess proven DevOps experience and the ability to code, test, build, and deploy. They should thrive in a self-organizing and self-managing team environment and have solid expertise in building and running scalable solutions in the Cloud, particularly with Kubernetes and AWS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience and proficiency in managing infrastructure and configuration, setting up and operating services, measuring and monitoring availability and performance. A team player mindset, strong collaboration skills, and openness to working across functional boundaries are important. Problem-solving abilities using scripting tools like Python, Shell, and PowerShell are highly valued, along with a willingness to learn more.
This is the tech stack we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Terrafrom, Linux, Gitlab, SaltStack, ArgoCD, Zabbix, Nginx, PKI, Python and others. If you find these technologies interesting and have some knowledge of them (or similar ones), then this might be the place for you. Of course, keep in mind, that you don´t have to master all of these technologies. Above that, we expect an eagerness to learn more.
