Role Description

We are looking for a Privacy and Security Lawyer to join Nixu´s Advisory service unit. In this position you will work as part of multi-skilled, multi-background teams combining the expertise of lawyers, privacy professionals and information security experts in providing our customers with comprehensive privacy and information security services. Our customers operate in a wide range of fields including medical, finance, media, energy, industry and public sector requiring you to adapt quickly to new regulatory and organizational environments.

We are looking for a legal professional who can work independently, ask the right questions and solve problems. In this position you will help clients find practical solutions for applicable regulatory requirements, draft statutory documents, and prepare reports and analyses. Your daily work will consist of billable lawyer and consultant work related to legal advisory.

To be able to succeed in this position, you will need:

• Law degree from a Finnish university or equivalent (OTM or similar)

• Minimum 3-4 years of post-graduate work experience related to data protection, privacy or data law

• Genuine interest in technology and information security and enthusiasm to learn more

• Excellent drafting and communication skills at least in Finnish and English, good Swedish skills are considered a strong asset

• Analytical mind, and the ability to ask the right questions

• Willingness to work in multi-skilled teams

• Can-do attitude

This is a permanent position located in Espoo, Finland. We support remote work and are always happy to take your personal life matters into account.
